Announcement Regarding OTE 2020

As a result of concerns over COVID-19, the Disability Network is postponing our signature event, Over the Edge, until 2021. We had planned to host the event on August 15. Since it attracts many who are vulnerable, we feel it’s appropriate to re-schedule for the summer of next year. We haven’t chosen a date. We know many people were looking forward to taking part in Over the Edge and apologize for any inconvenience. We hope to see you next year at the Durant Building in downtown Flint.

Getting started.png

Over the Edge is the only industrial rappelling event in the world and provides community members the opportunity to rappel down the side of a multistory building. A highly trained crew will get you rigged up, show you how it works and get you over that edge. Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday, right? In exchange for collecting donations to participate, you will get the experience of a lifetime by going Over the Edge for Flint!

The Cause

All proceeds from Over the Edge will go directly to The Disability Network-Flint (TDN), a nonprofit center for independent living. TDN supports people with disabilities to live independently in the community. Be a champion and help us make the Greater Flint area more inclusive and accessible!
